The main purpose of this web site is to provide resources
in the many sub-fields of anthropology. In terms of "non-related" sites,
they actually do relate. For example, dinosaur and fossil sites are pertinent to
Paleoanthropologists, Paleontologists and Quaternary Study majors.
If there are not resources listed in our directory, it
most likely means that there is currently a lack of Internet resources for that particular
subject matter. We are continually surfing the Web and Internet to identify
resources that will be useful for our web visitors. So, in other words, we cannot
address all inquires sent to us.
The main reason is that our searchable database files are
configured differently. Also, we want to ensure that web visitors will be able to
find information pertinent to different sections of our web site.
As of September 8,1999, we have changed our rating scale.
So, it will take some time for the rating image to be placed next to the link.
Images that have No Ratings will have the following image next to them:

We routinely analyze our directory for outdated, dead,
and moved links. When links are deleted from our directory, they are automatically
deleted from your My Bookmarks directory.
We have changed our award distribution to one a month
rather than multiple awards per week. We have archived the Sites of the Week at the
following web page:
http://vlib.anthrotech.com/awards/archive/
The Site of the Week has moved to the
following location:
